Landing page design

For ThinkRobot, I wanted to create a page that was clear, intuitive, effective and creative. Adding a bold headline, front and center that highlights the benefits of using the product along with a “Learn more” CTA. Placing the CTA in the top center can lead to more conversions as it begins with a CTA rather than finishing it. Users don’t have to scroll all the way to the bottom to be prompted to convert. Using the word “Learn more” instead of “sign-up now” so users don’t feel forced, only curious.

To add some personality to the brand, I created two robot characters and added notes of space throughout on a white background. The characters flow throughout the page, adding delight to our users. The font chosen is Futura a geometric sans-serif. Futura is clean and effective. I chose a deep blue as my primary colour as deep blue in colour psychology is associated with being credible, professional, confident and positive. Deep blue reflects the premium service that ThinkRobot offers.

The CTA’s are rounded as research has shown that users are more likely to click on an object that has rounded edges. For the feature list, I used six features instead of nine as it felt too cluttered. Too much text can overwhelm the user. The bottom CTA, “Sign up free” stating the benefit rather than “Sign up now”. It makes it more likely that the user will convert. Simple, clear illustrations to outline what the software can help the user with. I made the quote bold with lots of space. Making it impactful, reminding the user why they need ThinkRobot.
